Parousia...and man made God. Is this really fiction or could it be total reality? The reality of Parousia will scare you beyond belief! Every bit of it is scientifically possible. If you like the unexpected, you will love Parousia! It has everything, suspense, twists and chills. You won't want to put this book down. Like a toddler with its favorite Teddy Bear, I carried it around everywhere I went for 3 days. I couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next! Just as with every good story, there are characters that you love and one you love to hate. The best books usually end up with movie deals and I can smell the popcorn already!

For a first time author, M. Jerista Lampman displays extraordinary talent. The book was enthralling, and it never failed to keep my attention. Her knowledge of church hierarchy, politics, and teachings woven with events of history and scientific possibilities produces a novel that you can't put down. When the last page was read, I continued to replay the scenes and wanted for more. I can't wait for the sequel, and I highly recommend this book for its mixture of suspense, mystery, and good storytelling.

PAROUSIA
The title, Second Coming, really intrigued me. I enjoyed the plot especially the fact of delving into the secret confession of a cardinal as he unravels the devious plan to clone Christ. The ending was chilling. Can't wait for the sequel.
